Even so, volatility appears to be picking back up. So what course of action should investors take?
According to Paul Meeks, CIO and portfolio manager for Sloy, Dahl & Holst, there doesn’t seem to be any glaringly obvious technology buys or sells right now. In general, Meeks says he likes to focus on leadership names, and companies that are doing well.
For the technology sector, that means Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. Meeks recommends that investors of these stock initiate positions or slightly add to them. However, there’s no need to make any aggressive moves.
